Colours of the Day

Hello Everyone!

Just because I am hard at work for the Man does not mean we can't have a little break now and then. Come with me now and witness the Hollow's bright Monday colours of the day before the rest of the week overtakes us.

Molly Brown's crate had an upgrade over the weekend. She is taken around back at dawn, fed and watered and loved on a little before I head back upstairs for a half hour snooze, if work permits. Upstairs, this is what is greets me every autumn morning when the sun is cooperative and the day really starts up.

Real.

Real.
Not real. But it looks great on my piano!

VERY real! Stepping outside this time of year is like entering a fairy kingdom. There is just no way I can capture the vibrant golden hue of the trees, so many the air itself hums with the colours.
This beautiful patch of ground cover covers up one of my brick steps. Nature will out!

Several hours later (read 12), work over and done with for the day, I am ready to have a go with another Paper Lady, this time with these fun metallic coloured pencils. You'll see what happened with those this weekend.

Molly's cage, before she goes in for the night.
Speaking of which, we are back where we started. Sweet dreams, Kids!

Take care.
Candace

Hi Candace! Isn't autumn just the best...well, for me winter is a big favorite also! Everything is just so filled with glorious color and beautiful! I wish it lasted longer than it does! Molly Brown is a lucky lady with her own pretty twinkle lights! Hugs, Paulette ;)

Aren't the colours just great this year? I love that green brick. Mmm, I think it is time to bring out the twinkly lights. Not sure our hounds will be as lucky as Molly Brown tho'.
I look forward to seeing what you've been up to with the pencils.

Hi Candace,
I love the colours at this time of year too and I think this year is one of those years they are outdoing themselves! I am with Lynne on the metallic pencils and what you are making.
Lovely lights for Molly Brown, though if that was for my cats they would have a paw over their faces! They heavily disapprove of light or noise when trying to sleep, whish is most of the time!

The autumn pictures are so beauteeeeful!
We don't get the color change here in good ole SA like the rest of the world. Luv it anyway.
Have a wonderful day dear sweet Candace.

Lovely colours! But I am intrigued though. Who is the Man and why are you working for him? And such long hours? And who is Molly Brown? And why does she have a cage with fairy lights? Oh, isn't life mysterious? I make up stories to answer my questions ...

Candace, your story is enchanting and I so wish I were there to enjoy each and every beauty. Every detail looks so warm, so Autumn. :)
xx,
Autumn (is that redundant?) bh

... the "bh" was Logan's handywork and has no meaning...

Hi everyone!
Hope you _all_ are doing well whatever season is going on around you. Thanks for the visits and nice comments. Always good to hear from each and every one of you.

Molly is doing well with the lights, Sarah. Nothing disturbs her once she starts to snooze.

Anairam, "The Man" is a slang term meaning the company you work for.
Other than that, do let me know what stories you've come up with! LOL. I do that too!

Doesn't Autumn have the perfect name? I will see her very soon!

Take care, everyone!
