Hello Everybody!
Well, a change of pace was good for this gal ... she's reaching for that brass ring, which just happens to be a red rubber ball in a celestial game of "Jacks". I loved that game when I was a kid. You could play it inside, outside, good weather, bad... it didn't matter. And "Jacks" is indeed a work in progress...

Lovely drawings, having taken the time to look backwards for a few minutes.
BTW, the Strathmore Trading Cards can be bought @ Amazon and perhaps other places for $1.96 ea. Just in case you want to purchase more a bit cheaper ; )
Thanks again for stopping by!
Cheers!
Oh, I loved Jacks too. I must go see if I can find some. I adore the idea of playing a celestial game of Jacks.
Hi Candace. i have been a bad follower for the last week or so. catching up today. love, love, LOVE the jacks and jumping rope gals! i loved jacks too and, like SummersStudio, this makes me feel like going out and buying some.

I love the way she is dancing Candace-she looks so happy!
I do not know that game, but it looks like she is having a great time so it must be good. I like her floaty see-through dress as well - very summery and happy!
I love this drawing! You've got the movement down pat.
I remember playing jacks...never was too good at it. My sisters played it more than I did.
Thanks for the memory.
Hello Everyone and thanks so much for your comments. I really have to get cracking if I want to finish up a certain TEE TINY shrine for Labor Day!
It's hard when you want to visit your Blog Peeps and see what they are up to as well, however.
Take care!

I love Jacks too...& I love this drawing...but...ummm...is she not wearing any bloomers? tee hee
Velvet Ginger ... oh the scandal! Did I mention her name is Isadora Duncan...? lol.
Say, when you play "Jacks", you don't need bloomers evidently!
Thanks for stopping by... have a great rest of week, Sugar.
Hey -- I see your hint, Janet, and I double it. LOL!
Isn't it just about Shrine Time?
Just wondering...

Hi Sweetie! You get such good movement in your drawings! I love it, and I love her pretty ballerina feet too! Hugs, Paulette :o)
Why yes, it is almost time for Shrinin' and Cryin' ... lol. Actually it has been one of the best and most exacting challenges AND that on top of the actual artform itself is fun to boot.
Paulette, thank you so much for your visit. I ran out of room for that second foot, lol.
And now, onward, ever onward, Peeps!
