Beauty

There is no excellent beauty that hath not some strangeness in the proportion.

Wouldn't this be great as a doll? I don't mean a paper doll, either.

Take care,
Candace

Candace, I once drew a lady that looked like this. I can still remember her because her hair was totally the same! as. your. lady! They would make great friends, I'll bet. You do ladies the way I like them. I love the long necks and cool, distant looks. - don't know why; don't think that's me! Good job, anyway, by you on this project.

Oh fun! Thanks for the comments, Seth and Jeanne.
I am already working on a doll -- sort of. We'll see what happens. I rather liked using yellow for her colour. That Imperial China hue, eh?

I would love to see this as a doll, with some wild grass or rush for the hair, all coiled and wound. So composed and lovely.

These kind comments ALL have had me hit a springboard for this girl. I am so happy to tell you all that I have just made an actual JOINTED PAPER DOLL of Beauty and am now going for a REAL doll.
Maybe I will send it in to some fun magazine or such.
She has been so so much fun.
Thanks and everyone, take care!
Candace, still in Athens.
