The Happy Couple

Hello Everyone!

I don't think this little sketch needs any explanation.

Do you? EDIT: I had an earlier rougher sketch and have now replaced it with this latest.

Work is really underway now. 12 hour days already. Weekend work a sure thing.

Between that, Halloween Shenanigans and my dad's breaking his hip yesterday -- whew. His surgery was all but immediate and he's doing as well as he can be, considering his age (93 next week) and frailties that come with that particular territory. I am grateful it wasn't worse and am grateful my brother and sister are close by.

Hi, Candace! Lovely drawing. Sorry to hear your dad broke his hip! Yikes! Glad to hear you both have nearby support for the coming physical therapy and such. Has your Sketchbook Project journal arrived?

Good luck with the work! (There seems to be more editing work where you are - here everything is quietish.) And I'm sending good rays of recovery for your dad so that the hip heals soon.

Anne, I DO have my Sketchbook Project and have yet to post to my other little blog about it. Maybe this weekend... !
Thanks again.

Hey Candace...thanks for visiting me. Your sketches are very whimsical...and I LOVE whimsy. Sorry to hear about your dad but it sounds like he's on the mend and yes, it is good to have family around. Hope to visit again and stop by when you can....

I hope your Dad is doing better.I'm so sorry to hear about his accident.
I'm lucky as well. My two sisters live in the same town as my mom. They do everything for her.
I would be driving back and forth all the time if it weren't for them.
My prayers are with you and your dad.
hugs,
C

I missed the little witch with the cute dress and apron. How sweet is that?!
