Woody

Need I say more?

Wish it was a better shot, I guess, is all I can say. I’ve been trying for this fellow for four years and finally got him.

Life is good. Life is also pretty busy even as the earnings season finally wraps up like a package, and we have maybe a moment to catch a breath before the next one begins.

Say, who do you think lives down there?

Not that Fast Eddie cares much about anything else but his corn bar, rain or shine, on the upper deck. It's 24/7. And Happy Hour? A little corn liquor, no doubt.
Take care! Art Shenanigans is stopping by this weekend.

This is a pretty good pic, actually. Don't you hate it when they drop in and you scramble for the camera and odd things pop up on the "screen" and lenses don't focus right? I tried to get my "automatic" camera to sense the close-up I wanted, but it kept taking nothing but blurry pics. I have *got* to read the manual one of these days. Thankx for stopping by!

Fast Eddie, Woody, even the wild animals have good names in your house! I agree with femminisimo-it is a good shot! Most of my bird shots are tiny and distant silhouettes! Have a lovely weekend! x

We have a pair of Woody's here and one flew over me this morning as I walked. The fish think alike again.
They peck the side view mirrors of our
cars when nesting because they think
that rival Woody's are looking at them. Tough bunch those Woody's.
Missed hearing from Athens.

Now I know where the Easter Bunny lives!!! He's down there in that hole by your tree stump! You've given up his little hideout! I betcha Woodie and Eddie have known for years! Stick you hand down there and see if you can pull out some yummy jelly beans and chocolate eggs! I dare you!...I double dare you!!! What's the worst that could happen? Mr. Easter Bunny gets upset and doesn't leave you any goodies, or something bites a finger off...I don't know which is worse! hee hee hee! xoxo Paulette

Hey there, Peeps!
Woody was a once in a lifetime chance to get a shot, trust me. He usually flits around faster than greased lightning. And maybe Beedeebabee Paulette is right, the EASTER BUNNY lives in My Yard! lol.

Jeanne, I am going to try to take some downtown Athens vids and post them. I accept the challenge to go shopping (as if I wouldn't!).

Take care and have a great wkend, all.

Hi, Candace! Love the shot of the woodpecker! I bet it is a female Pileated Woodpecker. They are sooooo huge! Like terradactyls flying in! Fast Eddie is also cute with his corn! :-)
